Remember this picture from the post on the new handles for my japanese hammers that I needed to make?
If you look at the hammer on the right and specifically the area where the hammer head meets the handle, you will see a space on both sides of the handle. Not good. It’s been bothering me since I made it, but the wedges I put in on the top kept it in nice and tight and it help up when I was using it. But it still bugged me so I took the handle out and made a new one instead.
Unfortunately, the piece of cherry I used (a cut off from a board) wasn’t the best looking, actually it’s kinda ugly.
But it fits in the hammer head properly, so what do you think?
As long as it works right?
